Hiervan is vaak sprake in combinatie met andere refractie afwijkingen zoals plus of min. Maar wat is een <a href=\"https:\/\/nationaaloogcentrum.com\/blog\/kan-ooglaseren-astigmatisme-corrigeren\/\">cilinderafwijking (astigmatisme)<\/a>? En is het te verhelpen door een <a href=\"https:\/\/nationaaloogcentrum.com\/ogen-laseren\/\">ooglaserbehandeling<\/a>? Hier lees je er alles over.<\/p>\n<h2>Wat is een cilinderafwijking?<\/h2>\n<p>Een cilinderafwijking, of astigmatisme, is een oogafwijking waarbij het hoornvlies of de ooglens niet perfect rond is maar ovaalvormig. Hierdoor wordt licht niet op \u00e9\u00e9n punt, maar op een lijn op het netvlies geprojecteerd, wat wazig of vervormd zicht veroorzaakt. Het kan voorkomen in combinatie met bijziendheid of verziendheid en is te corrigeren met een bril, contactlenzen of een ooglaserbehandeling.<\/p>\n<p>Normaal gesproken wordt al het licht dat het oog binnenvalt op \u00e9\u00e9n punt geprojecteerd, idealiter precies op het netvlies. Bij bijziendheid valt dit punt v\u00f3\u00f3r het netvlies (minsterkte) en bij verziendheid erachter (plussterkte). Bij astigmatisme is het brandpunt verspreid over een lijn, waardoor correctie nodig is.<\/p>\n<h3>Symptomen cilindrische afwijking?<\/h3>\n<p>De symptomen van <a href=\"https:\/\/nationaaloogcentrum.com\/blog\/kan-ooglaseren-astigmatisme-corrigeren\/\">astigmatisme<\/a> zijn minder goed herkenbaar dan van verziendheid of bijziendheid. Toch kan je de symptomen van een cilindrische afwijking herkennen. Vaak is er sprake van wazig zicht, zowel veraf als dichtbij. Hoofdpijn en\/of vermoeide ogen komen veel voor bij mensen met astigmatisme.<\/p>\n<h3>Behandelingen astigmatisme<\/h3>\n<p>Een <a href=\"https:\/\/nationaaloogcentrum.com\/blog\/kan-ooglaseren-astigmatisme-corrigeren\/\">cilindrische afwijking (astigmatisme)<\/a> is te behandelen door je ogen te laten laseren. De cilindrische afwijking en de plus- of minsterkte kunnen in principe in \u00e9\u00e9n <a href=\"https:\/\/nationaaloogcentrum.com\/ogen-laseren\/\">ooglaserbehandeling<\/a> of <a href=\"https:\/\/nationaaloogcentrum.com\/lensimplantatie\/\">lensimplantatie<\/a> verholpen worden. Je hebt dan een blijvende oplossing voor je mindere zicht als gevolg van astigmatisme.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text css=&#8221;&#8221;]\n<h2>Welke ooglaser behandelingen zijn er mogelijk?<\/h2>\n<p>Voor de normale cilinder afwijkingen tot 4-6 dioptrie kunnen kan onze <a href=\"https:\/\/nationaaloogcentrum.com\/ogen-laseren\/intralasik\/\">Intralasek<\/a> ooglaser behandeling de beste uitkomst.
