Je ziet dan alsof je door een beslagen raam kijkt. Na de operatie is dat raam als het ware schoongeveegd.<\/p>\n<p>Staar ontstaat meestal geleidelijk. In het begin merk je er weinig van. Later worden lezen, autorijden en tv kijken lastiger, en helpt een nieuwe bril vaak niet meer.<\/p>\n<p>Een operatie is zinvol als je zicht je dagelijks leven in de weg zit. Dat bepaal je niet alleen: de oogarts bekijkt tijdens het vooronderzoek hoe ver de staar is.
